Our Work Method
Taking stock and design
First of all, we take stock of what your requirements are. How many products do you want to package per hour? What are the (different) sizes of the products? Does it need to be labelled and, if so, with what kind of information? Where will the machine be placed and how much space can it take up? We will go through everything with you and draw up a list of specifications so that all the details are clear to both parties. Once you have agreed to this list, we will start working on the design of your machine. We use the information to create a design and send you a 3D drawing.
Production
Production is carried out at Horstmann Maschinenbau in Germany. Horstmann manufactures everything in-house using advanced, modern machinery and qualified personnel. Your machine is made in Germany! We would like to invite you to come and see how it is progressing as it is built.
Installation and maintenance
The machine will be thoroughly tested before it is put into operation. We do this by means of a FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and an SAT (Site Acceptance Test). If required, we can also provide an interface to your ERP system. Our machines are fitted as standard with remote viewing capability in case there is a fault. Once the machine is up and running, we will return annually for maintenance if required.
Service
is an integral part of your new packaging machine. Downtime is a disaster, we understand that like no one else. Stand-By machines are known for their high level of reliability and our organisation is known for its quick response time and excellent supply of parts.
